Ass.Prof. DI Dr. Heidrun Gruber-Woelfler
Ass.Prof. DI Dr. Heidrun Gruber-Woelfler got her PhD in chemical engineering at Graz University of Technology and is now Assistant Professor at the Institute of Process and Particle Engineering (IPPE), TU Graz. She is head of the research group “Continuous Processes”, a sub-area of the Pharmaceutical Engineering group at IPPE. Her research focuses on academic and industrial projects in the areas of catalysis and continuous processing involving the development of heterogeneous catalysts, fixed-bed reactor modules, in-line analyses and integrated purification for flow API synthesis.
Team Project Partners
Katharina Hiebler BSc MSc / Graz University of Technology
After her bachelor studies Environmental System Sciences (special field chemistry) at the University of Graz, Katharina Hiebler BSc MSc graduated with a master degree in Chemistry from the University of Graz/Graz University of Technology, focusing on biocatalysis.
Currently, she is a Ph.D. candidate and working in the ONE-FLOW project at the Graz University of Technology. Her efforts will be devoted to the development of continuous processes for the synthesis of active pharmaceutical ingredients using a combination of heterogeneous palladium and enzymatic catalysts.
